Runner’s Reward

This week has been a bad one for the United States but as we Americans do, we find a way to stick together.  My thoughts originally went to Dana Farber, Brigham & Womens and the “Brains of Boston” that treated my father’s cancer.  Of all the towns, Boston has such a large number of severely competent hospitals, doctors, and nurses.

Then as I ran this morning next to a Boston Marathoner in our running club, my thoughts went to the power of sport.  On today’s run, we were graced with hot air balloons and deer.

Tokens of hope floated in the sky.
