Ramen – One Bowl of Deliciousness


Americans think sushi is the backbone of Japanese cuisine. It’s not.

Noodles are the heart of Japanese cuisine. This bowl is one of the most popular dishes in Japan. Pork with some greens, an egg and ramen.
The crispy bits from the pork enhanced the broth in this bowl. The noodles were fresh and lovely.

    I used to have a tradition when I lived in Japan…I would take the train to my Japanese teacher’s house for a weekly lesson and ALWAYS stop off at a ramen house on my way back to the station. Such deliciousness!
